I think you sex them the same as blood parrots,there are two types of jellybeans,the first are dyed to give them vibrant colours(not good)and usually have candy or fruity sounding names,if this is the case, expect the colour to slowly fade, the second is the fry produced by a blood parrot female crossed with a male pink convict,jellybeans tend to be a little smaller(not much) and can be a little more aggressive due to the nature of the convict parent

I know that some breeders dye the jellybeans, and I think thats cruel, the ones I bought were white, light pink, and slight yellow. I kinda assumed that you would sex them like a blood cichlid. Thanks again for replying.
