Jellybean parrots are dyed an array of colors, he's now losing the dye and reverting to his original color!!

Your fish was dyed which was so sad. ( you of course did not know this)Yellow is the original color and the black streaks may be from stress. enjoy your fish and try not to buy dyed fish again as it is a cruel process for the fish if you read up on it . Now that you know parrot fish come in red, orange pink white red black some combos of these but not blue and the other colors out there.
