hey maybe your looking at a flowerhorn parrot..i've seen some young ones and they somewhat appear to be black in color when their young..they look nice and im planning to add one in my parrot tank too.
Hi
I would not be supprized if its completely covered with Black spot disease and the lfs is selling it as a black parrot or has to 100% dyed.
In my 14yrs of fishkeeping have never seen a black parrot.
I would suggest you do not buy it.

Research all you can about dyed fish (done by first dipping them in acid then injecting them with colour)don't always believe what the shop tells you, then you can make an informed choice if in doubt please don't!natural colours are normally golden, red or orange when adult, grayish when young,
