Blood Parrot Laying Eggs - Everyday for a week?

Hello,

I have 2 blood parrots in a 55 gallon tank. Their sex was unknown until my larger one (about 4 inches) began laying eggs last Friday. I've watched closely and saw that most all of the eggs had disappeared from the jar she laid them. I figured that she had eaten them. However, she's been continually laying eggs for 8 days now.

Is this normal? The bottom of the jar is covered in eggs for a day or two, then they begin to slowly disappear and by the next day the bottom of the jar is covered in eggs again. I've read that they can lay eggs as frequently as every  2-3 weeks but this has been going on for 8 straight days.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
