I bought 2 small blood parrots and put them in a tank. Thought nothing of it soon I noticed they were fighting with each other so I figured they would settle down in a little while Nope was not happening .So i got the brainy idea to get a bigger one to put in the tank with them thinking that would stop them from fighting ,well you can guest what happen the big one terrorize them .So now I have 3 tanks one for each fish.So the some of my story is to really know your fish before you buy  :) have a great day pern

you tried to calm the fish from not fighting by puting a bigger fish in there to be the boss, lol. It back fired on you.

This is classic. Only if you had given them the proper hiding place and some dither fish to distract you probably would not need to go through this.

How big are each tank. If you had left them to their fighting, it would have stopped after a week or two. Fighting is normal with cichlids.
