Question about Parrot Cichlid Breeding???

I have two parrot cichlids. The male is Jellybean and the female is Latisha...Anyhow, they want to have little baby fry very badly. At first I was glad that they would lay eggs and they wouldn't hatch. However, now I am beginning to feel bad that they keep trying to no avail. Is there any way that I can help them with their quest for little babies? Should I help them or will I end with thousands of little babies? My tank is 55 gallons with a divider. I have gold fish and tetras on one side and my parrot cichlids, clown loaches, and a pink tailed chalceus on the other. I keep the tank around 82 degrees. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

your tank is too full all

your tank is too full all ready. parrots and clowns get very big. if that was all you had your tank would be full. if i were you i would get another tank for the goldfish or give them to someone with a pond. goldfish like cold water 68-74. they make a lot of waste and the warmmer the water the more toxic it is. they also get very big and live for 30-40 years. fantails can grow to 10 inches comets 36 inches and goldfish should have 2 gals of water for an inch of fishes max size. that means 72 gals for 1 comet goldfish. the other fish cant deal with the waste the goldfish make and sooner or later you will lose all the fish except the goldfish and if you have a lot of goldfish in a 55 you will lose most of them to. you might beable to keep 4 goldfish in a 55 for sometime if you have nothing else in it. sorry i know this isnt what you asked but you need to know. dont even try to breed unless you move the goldfish out. good luck.
