everything from tetras to
everything from tetras to discus. parrots to knife fish. plecos to channel cats. livebears to egglayers. semi aggresive to peaceful. even have had a few odd ball fish in it a few times but they all sold rather fast so they were not there long. it shouldnt work but it does. i guess if they have enough space most can live well with eachother. i think right now i have about 14 types of fish in it.

we were going to have a
we were going to have a display tank but it has ended up as a tank that has a little bit of everything in it. i wont even tell you the mix of fish. everyone would think i was nuts. somehow it works though. they seem happy and healthy no fights and we almost never lose a fish out of that tank and in a shop thats a big deal. they have rocks driftwood and a ton of live plants. the tank is never pretty though as soon as i get it even half way the way i want it someone wants a fish and its a mess again.lol oh well, you would not believe how hard it can be to catch a fish in a 240gal tank.

i think they must be hard to get that is way they dont have them. still thinking about trying to breed some myself but i have to get my new 60 gal set up first and it has been sitting in the box for about 9 months now. lol well ill get to it some day already have 7 tanks at home and 25 at the shop. i dont know why i think i need another. lol once you start its hard to stop. at one time i had about 10 tanks at home. we moved so much that i stopped setting them up. 2 years ago i didnt have any. then we got the first parrots at my store and everyone said that they thought i was thier mom. they were scared of eveyone but me. they would all follow me around. lol i had to get them. now here i am 7 tanks in less then 2 years and another i havent even had time to set up yet. lol

I know what you mean about that, I have 5 tanks and am trying to get 2 more. No one every said you could have a display tank in your store. This awesome store I went to had at least 10 tanks devoted to displays that weren't for sale. I got me a small trimac or flowerhorn I am gonna try to breed with one of my parrots. I think they have to import the kirin parrots from asia because no one ever has them. You should try your hand at breeding them, then you will have your own supply. The only thing I see wrong with that is I think there is more to it then just flowerhorn + blood parrot. Also another tidbit I found out, Most male King Kong Parrots are fertile supposedly.
