Are my Oscar and Parrot fish on bad terms?

Well recently i noticed that my really friendly oscar and parrot fish have distanced themselves between each other, they seemed so affectionate towards each other before but now when ever the parrot fish gets close to the oscar. The oscar scurries away in the opposite direction, any ideas why this is happening

The parrot might be getting territorial because she wants to lay eggs.
