Hi! I need some help with my blood parrot. Had
to leave with a family member as I was away for a year. Not sure if
they did such a good job looking after it - it's a lot paler than it
used to be, and it now has a reddish tint in both of its eyes that kind of look like an
infection. Particularly cocnerned about this last
part. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

eyes

if its both eyes then its likely an bacterial infection, first thing is to do small 10%_15% water changes every 2 days, continue as log as required , dont forget to treat the water with dechlorinator

re: red eyes

Hi, thanks for the tip. The thing is that she has just been transferred into a totally new tank. Does it still make sense to do 10% water changes every two days in this case, since the water is probably cleaner than in the previous tank?cheers
