Okay.

So on my list of things to try.

1. Get a bigger tank ASAP.

2. Try some frozen peas as a laxative.

Any idea how long we can expect her to hang in without eating.  I would guess she hasn't eaten for at least 5 days.

I have had my Oscar who got hurt while in a territorial fight... she did not eat for 10 days and then recovered.. so thats how long i have seen a cichlid stay hungry and survive

I agree with that, try

I agree with that, try turning the lights off. They can go twp weeks without eating.

you may not see her eating but she will when shes hungry she may eat food off the bottom of the tank. Try feeding with the lights off it calms the fish down. My fish wont eat peas but you could try cucumber, frozen blood worms/krill(only use krill if they are bigger BPs
