Color in my my cichlids

I have four Parrot fish: 3 of them are blood red parrots, and the other one looks like a blood parrot mixed with a convict because the body looks more like a convicts. Anyway..... two of my parrots are suppose to be naturally green and kind of look like they have zebra strips.( I know for sure that they are not tattooed or dyed because there are not stores in my city that sell dyed or tattooed parrot fish.) Well they have recently lost their color and I was told that that was due to stress and that by feeding them frozen blood worms that they'll get their color back. I was just wondering how long that would take for them to get their color back and if I'm suppose to keep feeding them the frozen blood worms after they get their color back. Please help me with this current issue. Thanks.

I hate to tell you but no

I hate to tell you but no parrot is naturally green. They are either orange, yellow or black, tan, or yellow depending on age unless they are crossed with another cichlid. If you dark one looks like this then its a normal blood parrot that has grown into its orange (http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af345/chrisplosion/Video118-1.jpg)
Now unless yours is some new type of hybrids strain or is a kirin parrot then it was dyed. A picture is worth a thousand words. Kirin Parrot: http://www.flowerhornusa.com/forums/upload/monthly_05_2009/post-2081-124...
