Female Behavior?

My blood parrot is rushing everyone out of a specific corner of the tank.  (S)he has been doing that since last night and it is moving all of the pebbles out in a circular fashion systematically from the corner of the tank (s)he is shooing everyone from.
Question #1 --- is this female behaviour?  Is she about to lay eggs?

Quesiton #2 --- if she is about to lay eggs, given that she is the only blood parrot in the tank, do they lay eggs without a potential mate?

Cheers,

Joshua

eggs

It could be both actually
She'll be laying eggs or she could also have eggs
But you'll find out later or you should check closer and maybe u can see the eggs

This is spawning behavior,

This is spawning behavior, but doesn't necessarily mean a female. My male flowerhorn did this when he was alone. If it is a female it might lay eggs alone. If they is another cichlid in the tank it could be a possible mate.

eggs

they will lay eggs but they wont hatch,(even with a male blood parrot its unlikly they would hatch with males being mostly sterile) sounds like thats what is happening, a blood parrot will spawn with any other suitable male, and those eggs could hatch
