Getting New tank tonight need some advice quick!!

I am getting a 75 gallon tank tonight. I don't want to have to re-cycle it and risk killing my fish. But i think one of  the filters that comes with the tank has the same size filter. So if i just put my old filter in the new tank will it be ok? I am also maving all the gravel, plants. decor in the new tank from the old. The only water i will be able to keep will be the water my fish are in when i move them into buckets(i will but an airstone in here with bubbler so they have oxygen) They will be in the buckets for about an hour(the time it takes to set up the new tank) I will keep them in the smaller tank as long as possible. The new water is what i use when i clean the tank(25% change) it comes from my tap because i have well water and i tested my tap and it is perfect for my fish. Will my fish be okay going into the new tank right away? that is really my only choice but i want to know if they will be okay. I have 4 small-medium BPs and some rosey barbs and a few bottom feeders.

Next question. The people I am getting the tank from had a Koi in it so they where useing 2 canister filters and a filter the hangs on the back of your tank. It is the penguin brand(i have this with the filters that might fit) They had all filters in because they are dirty fish. Should i have all 3 in or just 2? I have alge waffers for my bottom feeders and some live plants they like to eat off of. Will they be okay will all 3? I was thinking i only need 2 because my fish arnt that messy.

  Thanks for any help!

ok are the filters they have

ok are the filters they have still being used? if the tank is down and the filters have not been used for awhile then they need to be cleaned very well. if they have not been used for more then a few hours the bacteria in them will all be dead so clean it out. if they have them running still just try to move them fast and most of it should live. you can move your whole filter to the new tank and let it run with the others for a few weeks instead of just moveing parts of it. and yes it is a good idea to move as moch old stuff from your old tank too the new one. also like chris says if you have the filters use them. it will just help keep the water cleaner. the only reason you wouldnt want to use them all is if the water is moving so much that the fish seem unhappy. all of my bigger fish seem to like a lot of water movment though.

So you are getting to

So you are getting to canister filters with the tank? If so put them in with the other one if they have the old filters in it because it will cycle even faster. I won't cycle instantly but as long as you have some of the bacteria in the tank it will cycle significantly faster than if you have none. The more filtration the better. If you can move 2 at a time.
