This is the first place Ive seen these fish called Puppy Fish! And it fits! I have 2 BP's, Adam&Eve, with 3 tankmates, in a 40 gal tank. They luv to give you the puppy-dog eyes and beg for food. They know the difference between Friends and Strangers! (They wont beg from someone they dont know!) They will take food from my son's hand but not mine? They eat just about anything they think they can fit into their mouths. They redecorate the entire tank on a regular basis- but if they are mad at Spot(Eclipse Catfish), they will move gravel from under his "House" until it falls over! This happens everytime they have eggs- because Spot is sneaky, and sucks up the eggs every chance he gets! Adam&Eve are about 5 years old, around 6-7 inches long. Tankmates include Spot- 4 years old 6 inches long; Jaws- (Pink-Tail Shark) 6 years old 8 inches long; & Chip- (Chocolate Pleco) 4 years old 7 inches long. All of these guys started out as little dudes- (1-2 inches)- in a 10 gal tank. They have as a group, maxed out my 40 gal. I cant afford bigger, so I have to stay on top of maintenance!

Haha! My parrot recognize people too! He begs food from me and he tried to attack my husband. My husband used that attack mode to teach him a trick. Blood Parrots are very smart!
