Re: my parrot laid eggs. what to do??
i dont think there is anything u can do to make it happen :( the reason it happens so we can buy them is because they inject them w/hormones in a lab to make them fertile to sell. and yes u should remove them if they r turning white, that means fungus is growing on them and they wont hatch :( im sorry. and next time ,i would say that u dont really have to seperate them. parrots r amazing parents! they will gaurd there eggs feircely, and if they r not viable then they know to eat them ( most times). if they dont, then we have to do it. which they hate us for, for a couple days. but we have to because they will mess up the water if we dont. again, im sorry :(
Re: my parrot laid eggs. what to do??
well im sorry to say that the reason they ate them last time was because they were growing fugus most likely. something like 90% of male bps r sterile. so she will lay eggs, but he cant fetilize them. if after 2-3 days the eggs turn a white color then there growing fungus and have to be removed or they will fowl up the water :( i hate that they cant have babies. mine try all the time.
Re: my parrot laid eggs. what to do??
hi thanks for the reply. but as i told u i have kept them away from the fish in the same pond so does that mean that it wont hatch & yes i do see 2 of the eggs getting white should i remove them myself or not?? second could i get babies out of it or not at all. i mean some where someone surely would make that happen thats how we get parrots in pet stores or market. so it cannot be possible that they wont hatch. if u have any info how i can make that possible please reply.
