On The Right Track

Hey

I have five BPs in two different 20 gallons... (3 and 2).  I have had the tanks going for over 6 months each... (about one year and the other six months).  I have plenty of hiding places and tons of plants (fake.)  I just replaced both filters (20-40 gallon filters) and heaters (20-40 gallon heaters).  Do I need to due anything special beyond what I have done?

I am worried about them, they seem quite friendly compared to what everyone else says.  They don't hide from me (only strangers) and they like to rub against me when I clean the tanks.  They seem almost like friends...?  Is that normal?

Any help or suggestions will gladly be taken.

Thanks

ditto on the bigger tanks

Re: On The Right Track

I agree you need bigger tanks. No less than 40 for 2 and 55 for 3 although I'm one to suggest more space than that. This would be the bare minimum.

friendly parrots

wow, you got lucky, mine take my hand off when I clean!!!!dont worry, all sounds fine, the only thing I would suggest is that you start saving for new tanks as really one parrot fish will need 30 galls with another 10 galls for every additional parrot added
