new tank

hi everyone, i picked up a 37 gallon cube tank for next to nothing, 24 rt to left, 20 tall and 18 front to back, was wondering if this enough to house one parrot and maybe some cories? any feedback would be greatly appreciated

i also forgot to say welcome to the site! i hope you will love your bps as much as the rest of us. do you have a name for your parrot? mine are named starburst, cupid, frank(barbs are all named bean lol),and pumpkin. would love to see some pix.

thnx for the welcome, didnt purchase any yet, was holding off til i got some info from actual parrot owners, not all the self proclaimed experts surfing the world wide web, lol

ya i know man! yor are for sure good to go. o ya i also have 1 pleco in there too. they are all good.

thanks mike theres lot of conflicting info out there, some places on the web suggest a freaking 75 gallon tank for every fish in existence!

the rule of thumb is 30g for the first bp and 10g after. i think you will be fine with what you are looking to stock with. i have a 55g with 4 bps and 6 tiger barbs and all are happy and still growin.
