Re: Black spots every now and then
Black spots are a sign of stress. Could be water quality, over crowded tank, being bullied by another fish, diet, fluctuations in ph or water temp, not enough aeration. Basically, anything that can cause a fish stress. Start with your water parameters and go from there. Make sure your ammonia and nitrites are zero and your nitrates are 20 or below.
