Re: Little spot on My Parrots eye....
i have had my 2 orange parrot fish for over a year and they have always lived with 2 silver dollars,a pleco,an angelfish,a catfish and 6 small, round black & silver fish, which ive forgotten what their called.they all get along fine except the parrots & catfish fish always fight, but the catfish seems to win mostly and the larger parrot ate one of the small black & silver fish a few weeks back. my problem is the larger 1 kills & eats any other fish i put in my tank, even ones that it is supposed to get on with. i've heard taking them out of the tank for an hour or so whilst putting new fish in will stop this happening,is this true, i dont want to waste anymore money! thanks.
Re: Re: Little spot on My Parrots eye....
that could help, along with rearanging the decor while hes out. but its not a guarentee. u could just have an aggressive bp. it sounds like u have a good family of fish now, id just stick with it. how big is ur tank, space could be a problem.
treat
As in another post i would add some antibacterial as a precaution incase it is an injury that becomes infected.Try 'Melafix' which is a natural solution of melaleuca and works very well.
Re: Little spot on My Parrots eye....
try a 50% water change first. if that doesn't work after a few days then post again.
eye
umm, I know that eyes that are cloudy are often caursed by poor water conditions, but this isent the case with yours, it may have injured it, just whatch for signs of infection
