new owner

you shouldn't put parrots in with Oscars , parrots are unable to defend themselves as they have no teeth, its like living your life with the worst school bully with no place to go,you may well see black spots appearing on your parrots, a sign of stress, see if you can separate them, also one parrot needs a 30gall tank as a minimum, with a extra 10 galls for every parrot added, and that's without the Oscar's, so unless you have a VERY large tank, that's your problem, your tank may not be big enough for the fish you have, do frequent partial water changes while you rectify the problem

Re: recently become an owner

your tanks bioload could have suddenly increased due to the addition of another fish, and the filter isnt coping well with it... resulting in cloudy water....

give some time for the filter to mature and get used to the new occupant... water should clear up after that..

another possible reason is, not too sure how big your parrot is, that it could have laid eggs somewhere in the tank, and the eggs are turning bad.. resulting in foul water
