Changing filters?

Hey guys, I was wondering how often a fish tank filter should be changed? I have been changing my water at a 30 percent water change every week and was wondering how often the filter should be changed. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

changing filters....

i have an AquaClear which i clean every other week, an i dont have to change the sponge filter for about 4 months, an i only change my carbon every 2 mounths. Or any other bag of chemicals id like too put in like, nitrazorb, good bacteria, or pnumonia illiminator, I would recomend this filter because its amazing how it keeps my 55 soo clean an crystal clear an it dosent need as much maintnece as normal filters, an its soo easy to clean, although i monitor my flter closely!:) good luckk!....

Changing filters?

I change filter every three weeks to four weeks. Only one at a time. great to change 30% water every week as that is what I do!

I rinse mine every week, change them about once a month

I use Marineland Emperor filters and get their cartridges in bulk thru Amazon.
