Idli did NOT like his new tank. When we first put him in the cooler, he lay down on his side in typical melodramatic Oscar style: "I'm going to die!"

Unlike the Oscar, our goldfish didn't seem bothered at all by the move, except when an algae eater broke through the barrier between them and stripped their tails. We moved the goldies to a separate cooler of their own after that.

Each cooler had a large hole drilled in the top with a door-handle drill bit to allow bubbler tubes to go through. We had a bunch of battery powered bubblers for use in the car. When we stopped, we put real filters in each tank. Here they are in a hotel r
